My Corona

In Episode 2, we talk with Jen, an ER nurse at a hospital in Manhattan, to hear what it’s like since the influx of patients with COVID-19 began inundating the emergency room.

In the first episode of My Corona, we walk you through the five key terms you need to know to impress your friends when NOT attending a cocktail party or NOT getting together for lunch.  These are the words and terms that have been added to the public lexicon that will help you understand the science behind the virus, the outbreak, and the world’s efforts to fight back against it.

These are weird–even scary–times, coping with life in the time of the coronavirus.  A new vocabulary has developed:  social distancing, case fatality rate, etc.  Many of us will get sick.  Some will perish.  For others, their livelihoods and financial stability have been suddenly upended.  My Corona is an effort to tell their stories–our stories–about navigating this strange new world.
