UK begins trials of Ebola vaccine as outbreak in DRC intensifies

Regulators in Britain have approved human trials of a new vaccine to tackle the latest Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo. It comes as health authorities in the DRC say Ebola has spread to two new provinces, including the populous northeastern city of Kisangani. We speak to a scientist who developed the vaccine and an aid worker in the epicentre of the Ebola outbreak. At least 28 people are dead after a bar in the Thai capital was gutted by fast-moving flames. Key Ally of Donald Trump Dies

The veteran United States senator, Lindsey Graham, has died at the age of seventy- one. His office said he'd suffered a brief, sudden illness. Graham was an influential voice on defence and foreign policy, and was a vocal supporter of Ukraine, and of military action against Iran. His death came s US forces launched their third round of strikes on Iran this week in response to Iranian forces hitting a ship in the Strait of Hormuz. White House subpoenas NYT journalists over Air Force One reporting

Several New York Times journalists were summoned to testify under oath after they reported alleged security concerns involving President Donald Trump's new Air Force One plane, the US newspaper said.
