After finding myself peopled out and carrying the lingering sadness that can follow when alcohol leaves our closest relationships feeling a little bruised and out of tune, I spent the day perched among the branches, seeking refuge in the way I always have. From childhood memories of running away into nature and escaping the pressures of school, to reflections on the complicated dance of connection, solitude and belonging, this is an episode about finding your way back to yourself when life feels a little tangled. High in the canopy, I interview the tree I call Satine. Through three tarot cards, Satine offers her wisdom, and what begins as a playful conversation slowly unfolds into exactly the advice I needed to hear.
