I'm delighted to share Episode 3 of the Not! Another Business Podcast this time featuring my long time client and great friend Such Amin. Recorded in May 2020, Such took some time out of LOCKDOWN to share his story to date and provided some excellent insights including: • How he juggles (often unsuccessfully!) his 3 main jobs, being a great CEO, Husband & Father. • His background growing up in London and how hard his Dad worked to provide for his family and give the best education opportunities but also showing him the value of a work ethic. • The shaping of his key decisions including how and why he chose Law as a profession. - Setting up his first firm during the 2008 recession and how taking bold positive action and having deadlines enabled him to get things moving quickly and successfully despite poor economic conditions. • Creating his tech firm from the inspiration provided by looking for efficiencies within his own business. • Getting an MVP (Minimal Viable Product) to market and how listening to customer feedback enabled 93% customer satisfaction. Who knew people wanted to check their files whilst everyone else was asleep! I've known Scott for a number of years and always found him to be a great source of inspiration and the very definition of hard work, vision, direction, and ambition.  Scott has set up and runs 2 businesses. Homesure Portfolio Management has been providing sales, property management and investment services to their clients for over 15 years. 5 years ago Scott set up Pillow Property Partners to provide property management services to holiday homes, serviced apartments, guest houses, B&Bs and hotel owners across the UK.  He's travelled globally to meet with and learn from some of the world's most successful businesses, and as if this, and all of the above, were not already enough he also works hard in his "spare" time as a mentor to other business owners as well as instructing Krav Maga (the military self-defence and fighting system).  Scott is an extremely successful and driven business expert who has won a number of prestigious business and entrepreneur awards over the years.  We talked about all of those things and much, much more. Marc Wileman Interview

Recorded during Lockdown 2020 I had the great pleasure of interviewing Marc Wileman. Dragons Den & Queens Award winner Marc shared with us how he started his business journey touring Australia before coming home and having his business plan rejected by all the high street banks.  He was granted a Princes Trust loan of £1750 and that kickstarted the journey that led him through the Dragons Den winning pitch, and ultimately an exit from the business in 2018 leaving him free to think about what comes next.
