OK Boomer
As a small town mayor, he was in charge of million dollar projects. He ran meetings where the public was encouraged to give feedback, which could be less than positive. He was in charge of civic improvements in which he would work side-by-side with employees, operating heavy machinery. What did he earn for these efforts? Around four dollars an hour. Then he watched his town go up in flames. (He first saw the fire at 2:00 AM from his yard while partially dressed.) Join Boomer for a conversation with Steve Swanson, long time mayor of Prophetstown, Illinois. They'll discuss the fire and other projects he spearheaded in sixteen years as mayor.
