Amanda Sinfronio Silva is a Brazilian-born beach volleyball player and educator based in San Antonio. She’s one of those people who just radiates positivity — the kind of person who makes you want to get out there and move. We talk about her journey from growing up in Maceió to moving to Rio at 16 to chase beach volleyball, coming to the U.S. without knowing any English, and how she’s built a life around the sport she loves. Now she’s teaching and coaching the next generation of athletes, all still while competing at a high level. Follow Physically Educated on Instagram @physicallyeducatedpod for more.
