All three of the Windsor Mountbattens, Andrew (formerly known as Prince) and his daughters, have been living rent free in royal lodgings for years. Andrew paid a peppercorn rent for his estate at Windsor and even allegedly earned money from cottages he rented out while the Queen, and now the King , have been bankrolling Beatrice and Eugenie's Palace apartments. It's not a good look when the country is struggling with high rentals especially for young families budgeting with the cost of living crisis.
