Pushups and Cocktails by Erin Madore
Okay, so most people (maybe even you) focus on: * Squats and Deadlifts - yes your legs and glutes are important but there's so much more to focus on that will help you be safely well rounded and stronger overall * Cardio - it's BEST if you lift weights or resistance train at least 2-3 times a week! Prioritize that my friends! * Machines - don't work any other muscle groups, no core engagement really However, here are 5 exercises that you are probably missing that you should definitely be doing (please always consult a doctor, honor your body, and be careful!!): 1. Pushups 2. Side lunges - lateral 3. Wood chop - twist 4. Side plank - obliques 5. Band work lateral taps and kickback Why?!?! Because: * Working muscles often neglected * Bodyweight - no equipment needed * Working multiple muscle groups * Cross training * Preventative * Injury rehabilitation * Improve posture * Reduce back, hip and knee pain If you give these 5 a try please let me know how it goes!!
