Episode 41 - Ishtar

Never give up, never podcast! In this episode, EV choose to blodly take the rest of the girls where many movie disucssions have gone before: 1999's Galaxy Quest. This sci-fi comedy, serving as a meta-commentary on the value of nerd culture, has had a cult following since it's release and the girls spend this conversation talking about how that commentary has aged, in addition to, y'know, all the good jokes. I never considered what would come after podcasting. This episode, Bridget decided to play God by having the rest of the girls watch Guillermo del Toro's recent Frankenstein adaptation. Although divisive in it's execution, it's impossible to deny the artistry and passion on display over the film's runtime.
