Richmond Tigers Premiership superstar, Brandon Ellis, opens up about his battle with growing up in government housing commissions, being told that his father was going to pass away from cancer, being dropped from the AFL Senior side after 110+ games straight and the trials and tribulations that come with being an elite athlete. Brandon emphasises that "Hard work beats talent, when talent doesn't work hard" and this really resonates through this episode of the podcast. Carolyn is happily married to her husband Simon, and raised four beautiful children, who are now young adults and a teenager. I think this is a conversation that has been lost over a period of time, partly due to the negative connotations that we hold with being confident and being humble. Vincent Scarpino, also known by his stage name, Vinnie Chenz, is an MC and Hype-man across some of Melbourne's premier night clubs. He has a long list of accomplishments which include hosting events for Kevin hart, Blackstreet, Paris Hilton, Ashanti and JaRule, Will Sparks, Tyga and Fatman Scoop. 2015 saw him compete on the season of X-Factor in front of Guy Sebastian, Chris Isaac, Dannii Minogue and Ronan Keating which led to international tours in Italy, London, Singapore and Paris Disneyland. In 2017, Vinnie released his debut single called 'I'm the man' featuring Kyle Gee. He has also built a 50k following through authenticity and originality. So today on the episode we discuss the importance of pushing a certain positive message through the use of a substantial social media following.
