Doctrines, opinions and beliefs contrary or opposite to widely accepted truths. They will teach things that seem to deny the Lord that died on the cross to redeem or save them. The results is that, such people will bring Swift Destructions to themselves - 2 Peter 2:1 (KJV, GNT) 2. False Teachers have large followings even in their Error. Don’t ever think that false prophets or teachers will not have anyone following them or few people at that. 1. The Strong Deception of False Teachings. Deception is half truth and half lies. So in an attempt to receive the truth, you swallow the lies. A little truth quoted with massive lies is deceptive and misleading.  A false teacher is a person who claims to teach God’s truth but instead promotes doctrines, practices, or lifestyles that contradict the Word of God and lead people away from Christ.
