お正月には「初（はつ）」がつく言葉がたくさんあります。たとえば「初詣（はつもうで）」「初日の出（はつひので）」「初夢（はつゆめ）」「初売（はつう）り」「初笑（はつわら）い」どれも、その年の最初という意味で使います。今回は、この「初〜」という言葉についてやさしい日本語でゆっくりお話しします。 In Japan, you often see the kanji 初 around New Year.
