Setting boundaries was the best thing I could do for myself during my cancer treatment. Setting boundaries for me meant that I didn’t overextend myself during treatment. It allowed me to have the peace of mind I needed to get better. But, for Latina women, trying to set boundaries with their families can sound like, “I hate you, and your love, and all your new treatment ideas.” Which is not what we’re doing AT ALL. So, how do we create a peaceful environment for healing while also managing our family's expectations? In this week’s episode, we’re talking about how to protect your peace during treatment and survivorship. You need to protect your peace during this time, and I am giving you permission to do so. I have a ton of resources and tips for you in this week’s episode, so if you’ve felt like this was a daunting task on top of everything else, I’ve got your back. Tune in to hear how I’ve protected my peace and set boundaries with my loved ones during my cancer recovery treatment and beyond.
