Today we are exploring the mysterious "Lightning Pyramid" of Ta Keo in Cambodia — a massive five-tier structure built with an incredibly rare, ultra-hard sandstone that glows white at the top. The only pyramid in Cambodia made from this material. Official history says it was built in 975 AD, struck by lightning, and abandoned unfinished. But after walking the site and examining the evidence, I believe this pyramid was completed — and served a far more sophisticated purpose.
