26 afleveringenZEEGER is a humble guy who set up Nomad Academy to help young professionals through transitions into entrepreneurial lifestyles through emphasis on self development and practices that increase introspective intelligence. We discuss ways of explaining oneness: from the big bang to now everything, is one singularity and everything is on a path to evolving and developing its consciousness. I also went further into discussing my trip to PERU and what it thought me, going from living an idea of what i should be doing to giving into the refining the quality of the experience of my life. ''WHEN EVERYTHING BECOMES RELATIONAL, the heart warms up and life takes on a different appearance''
Firing someone is never nice, especially when it’s your own company. How do you overcome your limiting beliefs to do what’s best for your employee and your company? Zeeger talks about Nomadic Academy (which used to be his business), and how he applied Love in its development. He talks about firing people and not listening to the ego mind and going through a process of DISIDENTIFICATION. Stepping back from believing that firing someone will reflect badly on who you are is a useful skill to have. Zeeger goes on to talk about his sense of Freedom and Confidence, which emanates from his approach to life rather than his ‘achievements’. Developing Freedom gives you the ability to process your experiences without reacting in fear. It allows you to avoid making decisions based on the working of the ego mind. Take a step back and observe your internal processes Zeeger says. Step 1, develop self-awareness.
How do can you act proactively to minimise costs at the hospital? How can you increase your day to day investment in your health by eating healthy, looking after your body and your mind? Dr Russel Jaffe, who acquired his BS, MD (he is a Doctor of Medicine) and Ph.D at Boston University on the same day, gifts us his knowledge and experience. He started his interdisciplinary exploration of medicinal and lifestyle practices by studying alongside acupuncturists, monks and spiritual healers. He has come to developing a wide view approach on health that aims at treating the root cause of imbalances in the body rather than patching up the symptoms of such an imbalance. Dr Jaffe and I are both believers in the importance of non-processed wholefoods that deliver the best nutrients to our body in the way that nature has developed the body to absorb them. We covered a broad spectrum of subjects such as the use of dietary supplements and the importance of Magnesium in utilizing energy units for the cell (ATP); the right amount of protein to consume, about 80 grams for a growing and active 20 year old, that has to be balanced with the correct amount of Magnesium to avoid creating a more deleterious acidic internal environment. Another topic covered was that of the importance of the gut microbiome and the Vagus nerve that allows two way exchange of information from the Enteric Nervous System (that of the gut) to the brain and vice versa.
What is one of your deepest FEARS? What is your greatest DREAM? In this solo episode I go back to my childhood to understand more of what limited me and how I came to finally desire A LIFE of unconditional love towards the world. For me, my greatest fear is that of not being loved by the people in my life. This is a fear that a lot of us have had in our life and may still struggle with today. By listening to this fear I was afraid to take all the place I could take in my life as an adolescent. I would not always speak my mind and would be quite judgemental of others around me who were not afraid of speaking out and taking more space in the classroom. Through my journey of discovery of self through Taoist meditation, Parkour and generally questioning life in what I liked to call a ‘’DEEP’’ way, I have now given into the dream of living my life with unconditional LOVE for those around me. This dream requires courage as no one else can tell YOU what your own truth is. I want to be honest with myself in every moment of my life. This requires drive and self-trust. In the end I am the master of my fate and captain of my soul.
We perceive time as linear, this is taken for granted by most human brains on earth, However, does this perception of time depend on the state in which our consciousness is? And where does subatomic physics come into all of this? Listen to two neuroscience graduates talk about how the state in which our brain is in affects our perception of time. As we change our frame of reference to explore the world we live in, the notion of time and the way it advances changes. At a subatomic level, when one has a frame of reference that only includes one particle, the change of the state of that particle cannot be compared to something else. At this level, only the present state of that particle exists, it has no past or present. Similarly when our conscious experience is only aware of what allows us to be aware, what some may call life force, spirit or essence, the frame of reference in which we place ourselves includes only one thing. Some say the spirit is immortal, is this true or not?
