Welcome to Day 99 of the 100 Days of SHIFT Challenge! This is our last week together of hearing my voice every single day for 100 days *cries* Today, as we are in Day 99, I want to encourage you to not let up. Don't slow down. Don't get comfortable. When you see the finish line, it doesn't mean that it's over. The split second of giving up, slowing down, making a mistake can cost you the entire effort you've put in thus far. Stay focused. Let’s cultivate a mindset where we run through the finish line, past the finish line. This means, we don’t slow down when we see the end is near. We keep up the pace, or maybe even pick it up, and celebrate in victory. Today, I want to encourage you to train your strengths to hone your skills and to sharpen them, but also be honest with your weaknesses and strengthen those, as well. Some people repeatedly do the same thing they’re already good at because that’s where they feel safe and comfortable. But, there can be so many opportunities you could be missing out on just because you want to stay comfortable. Welcome to Day 96 of the 100 Days of SHIFT Challenge! This week, we’re at the last stretch of the 100 days challenge! Let’s cultivate a mindset where we run through the finish line, past the finish line. This means, we don’t slow down when we see the end is near. We keep up the pace, or maybe even pick it up, and celebrate in victory. Today, I share some stories about what I learned in the sauna. In particular, the times in the sauna where I was with a client or training partner as they were cutting weight for a competition/fight coming up. The sauna is a special place where distractions are gone and the athlete must be completely in their mental zone and find inner peace. The people around them must be intentionally selected because of the vulnerability of the state of being in the sauna mentally and emotionally. How one talks, thinks, goes through the suck, and sits through it all really all matters. Listen in. I hope this can help you be selective about who you invite into your "fight camp".
