24. 10 key lessons learned this summer with Tess

Welcome back to another heart-to-heart between Tess and me where we chat about the biggest lessons we learned this summer (and are still learning to live through 🌷)! We hope our conversation feels like a long hug, a breath of fresh air, and a reminder that you matter!! And that every single thing you do matters🌱 Tune in to hear us talk about how… * You can’t be the same person you were and the same person you’re becoming * We deal with comparison and periods of change, growth, and transition * To cultivate intentional rest and stillness * Effort over outcome is such a powerful mindset shift to adopt  * How we live through the saying “If I am not for myself, who will be for me? If I am only for myself, who am I?” Give yourself grace in this new season of your life <3 We’re all humans going through life for the very first time! Feel free to reach out with any feedback, episode ideas or questions you’d like me to address :) Thank you so much for tuning in, and I’ll see you all next time! I post bi-weekly episodes~! aflevering 23. On people, passions, and paratha: Lessons and reflections from a summer in India 🌏 artwork

23. On people, passions, and paratha: Lessons and reflections from a summer in India 🌏

Join my new friends/travel buddies/fellow interns Divya, Eleanor, and Dawson as we all chat about our growth and learnings from our time interning with a rural development NGO in India! 🇮🇳 We also share advice about risk-taking and connection-building we’ve gained through our adventures and experiences here. (Professional growth segment starts at 3:55 and ends at 18:42, and the personal growth segment starts at 18:46). I’m immensely grateful to have been able to immerse myself in Northern India for two months through my internship with a rural development NGO organized by the World Food Prize! As a Borlaug-Ruan International Intern, I’ve spent the past eight weeks working on a project surveying the state of malnutrition in rural women and children, exploring the agriculture-nutrition linkages in farming households, and developing recommendations for the organization to help strengthen rural nutrition outcomes and livelihoods across India🌾 Travel/Reflections Blog: @callad05 on Medium Feel free to reach out with any feedback, episode ideas or questions you’d like me to address :) Thank you so much for tuning in, and I’ll see you all next time!
