A Poem, The Spider & the Fly

This piece was inspired by a conversation about how my mind works. This metaphor popped out fully formed and I couldn’t help but explore it and further develop it into this piece. I like this piece because it shows the dual nature of my personality and way of thinking… Chaos and order, raw intense experience and vision, I am all of it and they feed each other.

Lilly, On Integrity

In this episode I talk about the journey I’ve been on to understand and embody integrity over the last 10 years. I talk about how there are many layers to it which I’m still coming to understand and discover. There’s honesty, compassion, boundaries, commitment to your word, showing up, knowing yourself, and learning to embrace yourself moment to moment. I’m still trying to live up to integrity and be compassionate with myself through it at the same time.

A Poem, Haunted House

I wrote this cute little Halloween poem about how our own minds can become haunted houses full of ghosts and demons and how we can learn to unhaunt our houses. This piece was inspired by an Instagram post by the poet Andrea Gibson.
