Adelaide Crows defender Josh Worrell has been charged with careless driving and failing to notify police after allegedly striking a 29-year-old pedestrian with his Hilux on his way to training at Westlakes on Friday. Worrell allegedly drove the injured pedestrian to hospital before reporting the incident to police outside the required 90-minute window. The charges carry maximum penalties of 15 years and 12 months imprisonment respectively, though Worrell is cleared to play against the Swans on Friday.
