EP6 Talk About Tomorrow with...Hunter Davies

During 1967 and 1968, Hunter spent eighteen months with the Beatles and wrote the only authorised autobiography of the Fab Four. He not only spent time with Paul, John, Ringo and George but had unique access to their family and friends. His biography, published in 1968, has never been matched before or since and provided a unique glimpse into the legend. Hunter is also a prolific author and broadcaster and journalist who has written for the New Stateman, the Guardian, the Daily Mail and the Sunday Times. He is also the author of over 30 books including autobiographies novels and children´s books, along with his own autobiography The Beatles, Football and Me. But most importantly, he is a lover of the Algarve. It was while he was staying in Praia da Luz in the 1960´s that Paul McCartney turned up in the middle of the night with his new girlfriend Linda and stayed in their spare room for three weeks. You can hear more about this and Paul´s time in the Algarve in the new episode of Talk About Tomorrow
