Send us Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2605174/fan_mail/new] In Episode 6 of That Makes Two of Us, we discuss the ups and downs of dating, acceptable opening lines, and whether height requirements are reasonable preferences or unnecessary dealbreakers. We also put our vocabulary to the test with a few words that may—or may not—belong in everyday conversation. From there, things get even more unpredictable as we share embarrassing body sounds, answer some truly unhinged questions, and compare how different generations communicate. Kelsey gives me a pop quiz on modern slang, and we discover that today’s expressions may not be all that different from the Gen X slang we grew up using—just with new words, new meanings, and the same old confusion.

Must See TV....According to Kelsey

Send us Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2605174/fan_mail/new] In Episode 3 of That Makes Two of Us, Kelsey grabs the remote and takes center stage as she dives into the wild world of modern television. From binge-worthy dramas and addictive reality shows to guilty pleasures she may or may not be embarrassed to admit, Kelsey shares what she’s watching, what she’s skipping, and what everyone should add to their queue immediately. It’s a millennial masterclass in streaming… whether Mike likes it or not. Meanwhile, Mike does what Mike does best—interrupts with Gen X nostalgia, random facts, and reminders that “TV used to be better when you had to wait a week for the next episode.” From classic sitcoms and old-school must-see TV to debates over reboots, reality shows, and whether anyone really needs 14 streaming services, this episode is packed with laughs, relatable moments, and the kind of couch-side arguments every household has.  Different generations. Different remotes. Same conversation. Contact us at: MikeandKelseyPodcast@gmail.com

Must See TV (Or You Missed It Forever)

Send us Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2605174/fan_mail/new] Before streaming and on-demand everything, TV in the 80s and 90s was a commitment. This week on That Makes Two of Us, Mike walks Kelsey through the Gen X TV experience—where your schedule revolved around your favorite shows, and missing an episode meant you were completely out of the loop. From Saturday morning cartoons to iconic sitcoms, it was all about timing, patience, and a whole lot of channel surfing. Kelsey reacts to a world without pause buttons or DVR like it’s ancient history, while Mike makes the case that Gen X might be the most battle-tested TV generation of them all. They swap stories, laugh at the chaos, and explore how those decades shaped the way we watch today—proving that sometimes, the struggle made it better.  Different generations. Different perspectives. Same conversations.  Contact us at: MikeandKelseyPodcast@gmail.com
