This episode is all about distraction and strategies to help you to "control your attention and choose your life". Reading Nir Eyal's book Indistractable was in response to a realisation that I was consistently becoming off task when using my phone. I share with you some strategies he has recommended that I have taken on board that I am finding useful.  Check him out @neyal99 on Instragram.

Sole Adrift Photography

I am so pleased I can introduce my second guest to the podcast @Soleadriftphotography  This episode is all about investing in yourself and following your creative intuition. Mikaela is a a budding professional photographer who is about to come into her bloom who is fascinated by love stories. She believes in the magic and power of photography to evoke feelings and share stories. She realised that she was not completely fulfilled even though she was working a job that she loved as a social worker and found photography as a creative outlet and has been able to turn her passion into a business.  She talks about the importance of having a mentor and refers a lot to her own mentor @ambedophotography. She also discusses her future self-development with @thewanderingcapri Mikaela discusses how the book by Donald Miller, A Million Miles and a Thousand Years has helped her to change not only her approach to her life but her approach to her photography through the notion of storytelling.  Check out her work! instagram: @soleadriftphotography email: info@soleadrfitphotography.com.au website: www.soleadriftphotography.com.au
