What the hell happened to the Church, anyway? Truth is, history before 100 CE didn't know of a church. It knew of synagogues and 'Way-Follwer' house meetings in secret. The church isn't in error. It's completely new in concept with its own guiding principles and philosophies. To be honest with ourselves, we have to admit that the religious and spiritual practices of Jesus are Jewish and synagogal. It is Paul who opened the door to what we have come to call Church.

"I am done with Paul." It's a strong statement and I may not feel like this forever. But there are deep problems with the way the Church has interpreted and disseminated Paul's arrogant, self-satisfying edicts to churches and Christians. This is the opening monologue to The Book of JJ's "Theological Thunder" series which starts in July.
