Life doesn't always cooperate with our carefully planned schedules. Sometimes family needs us. Sometimes unexpected opportunities come along. Sometimes our priorities shift for a season. The question isn't whether life will interrupt your plans. The question is what you'll do next. In this episode, we're talking about a powerful lesson from James Clear that completely reframed the way I think about consistency: Consistency isn't about being rigid. It's about being adaptable. You'll learn why flexibility isn't weakness, how minimum baselines help you keep moving forward, and why liking your reasons matters more than keeping a perfect streak alive. If you've ever felt like you "blew it" because you missed one day, this episode is for you. Key Takeaways • Consistency isn't perfection. It's continuing to move forward. • Adaptability allows your habits to survive real life. • Missing one day doesn't erase your identity or your progress. • Minimum baselines help you stay connected to your goals during busy seasons. • Every decision is a choice. Learn to like your reasons instead of criticizing them afterward. • Priorities will change from season to season, and that's okay. • You don't have to choose between loving your family well and pursuing your goals. Sometimes the timeline changes, but the commitment remains. • Self-leadership includes extending yourself grace without making excuses. Closing Encouragement Life isn't asking you to become someone who never has interruptions. It's inviting you to become someone who knows how to adapt without quitting. You don't have to be perfect to become consistent. Keep showing up. Keep adjusting. Keep renewing your mind. Small, faithful steps still move you forward. Your Habits Are Always Taking You Somewhere: Where Are Yours Leading?

Your habits are always moving you in a direction. The question is whether they're moving you toward the woman you want to become. In this episode, I share a personal realization that came while reflecting on my own habits. As I poured more energy into building my coaching business, I slowly stopped paying attention to some of the habits that had helped me lose over 80 pounds and steward my health well. It reminded me that intentional habits don't maintain themselves. They require our attention. We'll talk about the difference between habits that help us achieve a goal and habits that shape the person we're becoming. I'll also share a simple exercise to help you identify the habits that support the life God is calling you to live. In this episode, you'll learn: • Why habits are either built intentionally or by default • The difference between goal-based and identity-based habits • How to recognize when old patterns are creeping back in • Simple ways to make healthy habits easier to maintain • How to start where you're at and build consistency from love, not perfection Links mentioned: Get My Habit Tracker: https://coachshannap.myflodesk.com/podresources All other mentions links, here: https://shannapyzer.com/all-the-links

Stop Chasing Productivity. Start Creating.

In this episode, I explore how constantly striving for productivity can leave us drained, discouraged, and feeling like we are never enough. Instead, I invite you to consider a different perspective. Because you were created in the image of a Creator. Whether you're making dinner, coaching clients, raising children, tending a garden, building a business, or simply creating peace in your home, your life is filled with opportunities to create instead of merely produce. Sometimes changing one thought changes the entire emotional experience of your day. In this episode you'll learn: • Why productivity isn't the only measure of a meaningful life • How your thoughts create the emotional energy you bring into your work • The difference between doing something because you "have to" versus because you get to create • Why creativity isn't reserved for artists • Practical ways to shift ordinary daily tasks into meaningful acts of creation • How this simple mindset shift can reduce stress and increase joy 💜 Next Steps: Please subscribe, like, review and share with your friends! Mid-Year Reset: How to Finish the Year on Purpose

We're halfway through the year. Maybe you're exactly where you hoped you'd be. Maybe you've made incredible progress. Or maybe you've forgotten the goals you set back in January. Wherever you find yourself today, this episode is your invitation to pause, reflect, and move forward with intention. In this conversation, I'm walking you through the same process I use every 90 days to evaluate my life, celebrate growth, learn from challenges, and decide what matters most for the season ahead. This isn't about judging yourself for what you haven't done. It's about gathering information, renewing your mind, and choosing your next faithful step. You don't need a perfect first half of the year to have a meaningful second half. Your next decision matters more than your last mistake. 💜 Next Steps: Please subscribe, like, review and share with your friends! aflevering Clarity Creates Consistency artwork

Clarity Creates Consistency

If you've ever found yourself saying, "I just need to be more consistent," this episode is for you. Consistency matters. It changes lives. Small actions repeated over time create incredible results. But what if the thing standing in the way of your consistency isn't a lack of discipline? What if it's a lack of clarity? In this episode, we're talking about the connection between clarity and consistency. When you're clear about what you want, why it matters, and what actions will move you forward, consistency becomes much easier. Whether you're working on your health, your relationships, your faith, or building a coaching practice, clarity may be the missing piece. Episode Summary Many women assume they have a consistency problem when what they really have is a clarity problem. When we're unclear about what we want, we become overwhelmed. We hesitate. We overthink. We second guess ourselves. Then we label ourselves inconsistent. In this episode, I walk through how clarity creates focus, reduces overwhelm, and makes consistent action easier. You'll learn how to get clear on what you want, identify the actions that actually matter, and build momentum through small consistent steps. Whether you're working on weight loss, improving relationships, growing your faith, or cultivating a coaching practice, this episode will help you take a practical look at what may be keeping you stuck. Key Takeaways • Consistency is essential, but clarity often comes first. • Confusion creates overwhelm and overwhelm leads to inaction. • You cannot intentionally move toward something you haven't clearly identified. • Getting clear on what you want allows you to identify the actions that matter most. • Clarity helps eliminate distractions and focus your energy. • Consistency creates evidence that you can trust yourself. • Evidence builds confidence. • Confidence builds momentum. • Consistency should come before intensity. • Small, consistent actions create transformation over time. Encouragement You do not have to have everything figured out before you begin. Start by getting clear about what you want. Then take the next right step. Not perfectly. Not dramatically. Just consistently. God often works through the ordinary, faithful steps we take over and over again.
