The Color of Love
Hong Kong during the Vietnam War was called "a haven for tortured souls". Between 1965 and 1970, Hong Kong saw an annual influx of about 200,000 US ground and naval personnel on shore leave or "R&R". They arrived by sea and air for respite from the pressures of the grueling conflict in Vietnam. Mike, a Coast Guardsman, went for those reasons and more; to find a piece of camera equipment and...for female companionship. Her name was Suzie.
