Who is he? How did he die? Some say he was just a spy! On the first of December 1948, the body of a man was found on Somerton Beach, Adelaide, South Australia. Initially, it looked just like a tragic death but as the weeks and months went on it became clear that this was no simple matter. To this day we do not know who he was, where he came from or how he died. So join us as we get together and theorise! MK-ULTRA is potentially one of the most extreme examples of government power and control! After WW2 and going into the cold war, superpowers from around the world were looking for any advantage they could get on their enemies.  This would lead to several black projects being approved in the name of military expansion and power, MK-Ultra was one such project and permitted the CIA to unwittingly experiment on its own people with mind control techniques, one of which being the use of psychoactive drugs such as LSD. We take a closer look at the project and discuss how it could have evolved to be used in the modern day.
