On this episode of The Core Rapport, we continue the conversation about race as we deal with microaggressions! Microaggression is a term used for brief and commonplace daily verbal, behavioral, or environmental indignities, whether intentional or unintentional, that communicate hostile, derogatory, or negative prejudicial slights and insults toward any group, particularly culturally marginalized groups.   What do White people see when they see us? Do we even know who we are? Whose responsibility is it to discover the real us? We tackle all that and more with honest, transparent and real life accounts of the core issues we face in our own lives on a daily basis. The Core Rapport Podcast is a medium of The Core Media. Our mission is to create thought provoking content that produces conversations about culture and community. On the podcast, we discuss the core cultural issues facing our Black and Brown communities that are often difficult to talk about.  Thanks for listening and please feel free to leave a comment, subscribe and share this with your tribe! The Core Rapport - "Raising Zachary" - Premiere Episode

On this episode of The Core Rapport, we delve into the difficult conversation of racial identity and how it affects the way we raise our children. Whose responsibility is it to affirm the racial identity of our children? When is it too early to have the conversation about race with our kids? What happens when they're the ones caught in the middle of a cultural tug of war?  We tackle all that and more with honest, transparent and real life accounts of the core issues we face in our own lives on a daily basis.  The Core Rapport Podcast is a medium of The Core Media.
