In this episode of the Daddy Daughter Podcast, Joel and Hannah mainly talk about THIS week. This week on Tuesday, we had a national election AND Joel had knee surgery. We are in a season of healing in our home and in our country. Dad and Daughter have an honest conversation steeped in hope, difficulty and God’s faithfulness through it all.

DDP S3 EP2: Intentionality Shows Care

In this episode, Hannah and Joel discuss the power of connection that comes with our own intentionality around recording the podcast and talking TO each other versus talking while the other is in the room. We've experienced a palpable shift in our connectivity when we are in the rhythm of podcasting or SHAREing together.  This season, I'm closing each episode with some "closing thoughts" and in that last portion of the podcast, the hope is to bring some resources to the communication to recap the themes that we felt coming up in the conversation. In this episode, I close with some tools to use while SHAREing with someone that you may not created intentionality with in awhile.  Below are some of those tools:  Check in questions What is a high and low of this: season/day/week/month/year/since we last talked What are you thankful for? What is your prayer request? What are you looking forward to? Methods: SACHET -> Sad, Angry, Scared, Happy, Excited, Tender PIES -> Physically, Intellectually, Emotionally, Spiritually
