Beschrijving

Everything you do flows from who you believe God is — and who you believe you are. If you see God as a distant judge, you’ll live in fear and hiding. If you see Him as passive, you’ll live on autopilot. But Exodus 34:6-7 gives us God’s own self-description: merciful, gracious, patient, faithful — a Father, not just a Judge. And the enemy knows it. He questioned God’s character in the Garden, and he questioned Jesus’ identity in the wilderness — “If you really are the Son of God…” He’s still running that same play on us today. In this episode, we break down who God actually is, what it means that we get to call Him Father, and who His Word says we now are in Christ — perfected, holy, righteous, dead to sin, alive to God. When we believe it, we stop managing sin and start living from an identity we didn’t earn and can’t lose. No more striving to become. Just rest, and become who you already are.

Silence & Solitude: The Lost Discipline That Changes Everything

Most of us are starving for God’s voice but terrified of silence. We fill every gap — every drive, every line, every quiet morning — with noise. But Jesus modeled something different: He withdrew. He got alone. He let silence do its work. In this episode, I break down why solitude isn’t passive, it’s a discipline — and one I believe can genuinely reshape how you walk with God. I’ll walk you through 7 practical, doable tips to start practicing silence and solitude this week, from setting a simple timer to praying breath prayers to just showing up in faith even when it feels like nothing’s happening. If you’ve ever wondered how to actually hear from God instead of just reading about it, this one’s for you.

Finding God’s Will Without Overthinking It

How do you know what God wants you to do? In this episode, I unpack three biblical principles that have helped me make major life decisions and discern God’s direction with confidence. 1. Ask God through prayer and fasting. 2. Search the Scriptures for wisdom and truth. 3. Seek counsel from Spirit-filled people who know and follow Jesus. God’s will isn’t something we have to fear or overcomplicate. He desires to lead His children. Whether you’re facing a career decision, relationship question, ministry opportunity, or simply wanting to walk closer with Christ, this conversation will help you pursue God’s guidance with faith and confidence. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding…” — Proverbs 3:5-6

What You Feed Grows: A Talk on Secular Music

I haven’t listened to secular music in almost four years. Not because somebody told me I had to stop — but because I finally started paying attention to what it was doing to my soul. I grew up on it. I knew every word. It shaped how I thought about women, about success, about who I was supposed to be. And for a long time, I didn’t even realize the damage because it just felt normal. But this past weekend — bachelor party, wedding, all of it — the music was everywhere. And I didn’t walk out. I didn’t plug my ears. I just… sat in it. And by the end of the weekend, I could feel it. My thoughts were different. My mouth was different. The way I was looking at things was different. My soul started acting like the old man I thought I’d put away. That’s when I knew I had to talk about this. Because what you feed grows. And what you let in your ears gets into your heart whether you invited it there or not. Today we’re going there — no condemnation, just truth.
