So here's some chopped up frog bits for your ears, performed live @ The Thunderbolt! Last Wednesday of each Month, the Thunderbolt is an amphibious operating theatre, and you are invited to come and watch these surgical clowns go about their gruesome work! Our 10 performers were: Mr K, Anna G.S, Janusz Salnikow, Johnny Connel, Alex Hoyle, Mikey Avern, Big Jeff, Josh Sadler, Jack Horner & Dan Gittens. 4 Performers are featured on the Clip Reel: Alex Hoyle (on Observational Comedy), Mikey Avern (on Observational Comedy, Carl Donnelly & Sandwiches), Josh Sadler (on Sandwiches and why 100 > 1) and Dan Gittens (on Microphones and Trust). The two pieces of sandwich based humour were a unique serendipitous moment where two comedians (Mikey & Josh) had two different perspectives on the same theme. Alex & Dan's material bookends that. With apologies to the brilliant Mr. Kay, who would've been on here but the recording was too fuzzy! Ed. - with apologies for sound quality in general, will be fixed in the next recording! Dead Frogs Society is a comedy night running last Wednesday of the month (not August) at the Thunderbolt on Bath Road, Totterdown, Bristol. Next dates: September 26th, October 31st, November 28th, and a Christmas show on December 19th!
