She attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City six-year BA/MD combined program, completed her residency in Orthopedic Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine, and then completed her fellowship training in Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Surgery at The University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston.
