Kijkduin is a small village south of Scheveningen and The Hague. The fact that Scheveningen is the more well known beach, makes Kijkduin the way less crowded beach of the city. What makes Kijkduin so special are the many man made dunes that protect the village and city from the sea. This is one of the many ways Dutch people defend themselves against the sea.
