However, this story, despite its strangeness to our ears, is important in understanding God's concern for family and for the less fortunate, and understanding the story of Genesis in context.

AJ and Ethan briefly cover Genesis 36 before diving into Genesis 37, which introduces us to the next main character of Genesis: Joseph. He's favored by his father Jacob, and his brothers quickly become jealous.
