Beschrijving

In this episode of The Faith Edit, we’re confronting one of the most dangerous assumptions in modern faith: the belief that almost everyone is going to heaven. Culture has taught us that being a “good person,” having spiritual beliefs, or simply claiming faith is enough — but Scripture tells a far more sobering story. Jesus Himself says that the road to life is narrow and few find it, while many walk the broad road that leads to destruction.  ---------------------------------------- Hosted on Acast. Ep 19 Old Testament vs. New. Did God change?

Because if we’re being honest, a lot of people read the Old Testament and see anger, judgment, and rules… then jump to the New Testament and see love, grace, and Jesus—and assume God had some kind of personality shift. But that’s not what Scripture shows. Same God. Same character. Same heart. The difference isn’t who God is—it’s how clearly we see Him. The Old Testament reveals a holy, just God who cannot ignore sin. The New Testament reveals that same God stepping into humanity through Jesus to deal with sin Himself. Justice didn’t disappear. It was satisfied. Grace didn’t replace truth. It fulfilled it. We don’t go from an “angry God” to a “nice God.” We go from shadows to fulfillment. From law to Savior. From promise to person. So the real question is—have we misunderstood God… or have we only been reading half the story? Let’s talk about it. ---------------------------------------- Hosted on Acast.
