Foresight Institute Radio
This recording with Lauren Wagner is from Vision Weekend Puerto Rico 2026, hosted by the Foresight Institute in February 2026. Lauren Wagner is a computational social scientist and policy expert who serves as a Nonresident Fellow at the Abundance Institute. Her work focuses on AI governance, technology trust and safety, and reducing regulatory barriers to beneficial emerging technologies. In this talk, she addresses what it actually takes to build AI systems people can trust: which technical and institutional properties matter most, how trust gets built and broken, and where current frameworks are not keeping pace. Vision Weekend, where this talk was recorded, is where we gather leading builders, thinkers, and funders in AI, bio, nano, neuro, and space to celebrate technological progress and explore how to advance it for the betterment of life. If you want to join a future Vision Weekend live, upcoming events are listed at foresight.org [https://foresight.org/] and in our Luma calendar [https://luma.com/foresightinstitute]. ---------------------------------------- Hosted on Acast.
