Congressman Zeldin On Ukraine, Inflation and His Gubernatorial Run
As the Russian invasion in Ukraine persists, Americans watch as the foreign conflict continues affecting their everyday lives. Between facing record-breaking gas prices and an inability to find affordable groceries amidst intense inflation, many U.S. families are anxious to know how long they will have to face these fiscal challenges. Republican Congressman Lee Zeldin joins to discuss the current status of the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine, why both Putin’s invasion and Biden’s agenda are to blame for the spike in gas prices, and why he believes voters may be hesitant to vote for Democrats in the upcoming midterm election. Russia's military assault on Ukraine has left millions of Ukrainians displaced as they flee to areas of safety. Others aren't as fortunate as horror stories of Ukrainian civilians trapped, traumatized, and killed emerge. Despite the danger, some feel a calling to help those faced with crisis. Former NFL quarterback and minor-league baseball player Tim Tebow joins the Rundown to discuss the work his charitable and missionary foundation is doing to aid Ukrainians, his faith, and his new book,Mission Possible: Go Create a Life That Counts. The Ukraine Crisis, Energy Costs And The 2022 Midterms
The 2022 midterm elections are 8 months away. While Republicans were already expected to do well, the crisis in Ukraine and surging energy prices are putting even more pressure on Democrats. One Republican hoping to win a Senate race in his state of Pennsylvania is Dave McCormick. Earlier this week he spoke to Dave Anthony about his campaign and how he thinks our government should be addressing Russia, our growing energy crisis, and other issues. He also discussed his high-profile primary opponent, Dr. Mehmet Oz, and why it would be valuable to get former President Trump's support in the race. Due to time limitations, we could not include all of the interview in our original segment. On the FOX News Rundown Extra, you will hear our entire conversations with GOP candidate Dave McCormick and hear more about his campaign and his answers to the problems Americans are facing. From Washington: COVID's Two-Year Anniversary
On March 11th 2020, the World Health Organization classified the SARS-CoV-2 outbreak as a pandemic. Soon after this declaration, major cities promptly shut down, forcing people across the world to adjust to living with the virus. In the two years since the COVID-19 pandemic changed the world, masks, shutdowns, and vaccine mandates have cemented themselves into everyday life. Dr. Syra Madad joins Jared to discuss how decisions involving mandates and restrictions are being made, future precautions we must take, and how close we are to reaching an end to the pandemic. The 2022 primary season has officially begun, and a select few primary races will determine which party takes control of the United States Senate. Recent FOX News Power Rankings has categorized five senate contests as toss-ups, including Pennsylvania's seat due to the retirement of Pat Toomey. Dr. Mehmet Oz and businessman David McCormick are running against one another on the Republican side. Both candidates joined The FOX News Rundown earlier this week as part of a series of candidate interviews The Rundown will bring you as primary season progresses. Learn more about your ad choices. From Washington: The U.S. Won't Escalate
The Biden administration rejected Poland's offer to provide Ukraine with MiG fighter jets. They described the offer as a "high-risk" move, potentially escalating tensions with Russia. The U.S. has also stated that they will not stand in Poland's way, although they believe Ukraine does not need these jets as they still have fifty-six warplanes still flying in the sky. FOX News National Security Correspondent Jen Griffin explains why the United States is proceeding with caution when providing Ukraine with such military aid. Gas prices are hitting record-setting numbers, and the Biden administration is pointing fingers at the Russian invasion of Ukraine as one reason for the jump, though critics point to the steadily climbing inflation number prior to the war. FOX Business Network Contributor Phil Flynn weighs in on how much more prices might spike at the pump, and what could possibly bring Americans' wallets much-needed relief. A Deep Dive Into Putin And His 'Playbook'
As Russia's invasion of Ukraine continues, there's been a lot of speculation about what Vladimir Putin will do next and how far he's willing to go to achieve victory. The mysterious Russian President has been an enigma for decades and few in the West understand how he thinks. Earlier this week on the FOX News Rundown, host Dave Anthony spoke to Former Defense Intelligence Agency officer Rebekah Koffler, who has done extensive research on the leader. Koffler, who was born in the Soviet Union and is featured in the new FOX Nation special, Who is Vladimir Putin?, discusses Putin's background and what drives him. She also speculates about the motives behind Putin's invasion, what could trigger a wider war, and how this conflict could potentially end. Due to time limitations, we could not include all of the interview in our original segment. On the FOX News Rundown Extra, you will hear our entire conversations with Former Defense Intelligence Agency officer Rebekah Koffler and get the chance to learn even more about Putin and Russia.
