I know that sounds intense and it a lot of ways it is. Us growing in our faith and truly sharing the gospel with others is a matter of life and death. Many Christians have a misconstrued view of suffering, but when we are be persecuted for the Gospel we are joining with Jesus in his suffering. We are being more conformed to His image.
