The Gilded Leaf 🌿
The hardest relationship you will ever have is the one you have with yourself. You can leave rooms, block numbers, start over somewhere new — but you cannot escape you. This Sunday at the Tea Table, we sit with the voice. The one that rises up the moment things get quiet. The one that says you can’t, you shouldn’t, you aren’t enough. We ask the question nobody asks gently enough: whose voice is that, actually? Because most of what we hate about ourselves today was a coping mechanism once — a way of staying safe, staying loved, staying standing in rooms that never taught us how. And we don’t heal by punishing ourselves for surviving. Tonight’s herb companion is “self-heal” — Prunella vulgaris — a plant that grows in disturbed ground and heals anyway. No perfect conditions required. This one is for anyone still carrying the person they were at 6. Pour something warm. Pull up a chair. We’re going in. This is a public episode.
