Men riding horses is an image captured throughout history. There is a deep connection that man has had with certain animals that have allowed humanity to build civilizations. We are joined by Majorie Papadopoulos to discuss horsemanship and the connection humans have with animals. There is so much more than meets the eye in this connection, and Marjorie shares with us the meaning and art of horsemanship and the roots beneath the age-old bond between man and animal. This is a very enlightening conversation in thinking about how men and women should interact across many contexts. Usually we're given a one-rule approach to thinking about beauty, modesty, lust, and sexuality, but maybe their is more prudence needed to properly understand these aspects of the male and female relationship. Our newest guest is Fr. Ian VanHeusen. Fr. Ian is a Catholic priest of the diocese of Raleigh, and in our conversation, we discuss many pertinent topics of the spiritual life. Many times, we are not always influenced by God, and it is important to understand how to discern those moments. In addition to that topic, we talk about the rigor of scholastic arguments, of which St. Thomas Aquinas is renowned as being one of the greatest, and how thinking in that way can help find the truth more concretely in all facets of knowledge. We also delve into the dangers of half-truths and many other ideas, thoughts and ways to think about our lives in different contexts. We hope you enjoy this episode! We can't wait to have Fr. Ian back on the show! Resources: Fr. Ian's Channels * X: https://x.com/ianvanheusen * Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/fatherianvanheusen GDM Resources: Website: https://lifelineusa.store/gdm
