The Greg SCHREFFLER Show™
Why do we celebrate anniversaries? Is it because everything was perfect? Of course not. We celebrate them because they're milestones; moments to reflect on where we've been, what we've endured, what we've overcome, and how those experiences shaped who we've become. Every challenge. Every sacrifice. Every victory. Every setback. They all become part of the story.story As you know, America just marked its 250th anniversary. That’s at least 10 generations. Anyway, it’s a remarkable milestone. Not because America has been perfect, any more than you celebrating your anniversaries for perfection, but because for 250 years, generation after generation has inherited a nation built through sacrifice, conviction, courage, and perseverance. So maybe you’re asking what we’re celebrating. The same things you might celebrate in a wedding anniversary. So that means reflecting. Remembering. The Bible, Internet, A.I. Remembrance * Deuteronomy 4:9 * Deuteronomy 6:6–12 * Deuteronomy 8 * Joshua 4:1–9 (memorial stones) * Psalm 78 * Psalm 105 * Psalm 106 Teaching Future Generations * Deuteronomy 6:6–9 * Joel 1:3 * Psalm 145:4 Human Nature * Jeremiah 17:9 * Romans 3:23 Wisdom * Proverbs 1:7 * Proverbs 9:10 Historical References Since Episode 1 asks, "Why should we remember?", I'd use only a few high-quality sources. Primary Sources * Declaration of Independence (teaser only) * United States Constitution (teaser) * Federalist Papers
