Non-Dualism and Non-Attachment

I take a shallow dive into the terms of non-dualism and non-attachment. I keep the dialogue pretty free flowing so please bear with me here. I would like to introduce concepts that I believe will help lead some future discussions. Non-duality is defined in the Merriam-websters dictionary as: a doctrine of classic Brahmanism holding that the essential unity of all is real whereas duality and plurality are phenomenal illusion and that matter is materialized energy which in turn is the temporal manifestation of an incorporeal spiritual eternal essence constituting the innermost self of all things. Non-attachment is defined as “: lack of attachment [https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/attachment] (as to worldly concerns)” Wikipedia says Nonattachment, non-attachment, or detachment is a state in which a person overcomes their emotional attachment to or desire for things, people, or worldly concerns and thus attains a heightened perspective [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Perspective_(cognitive)]. It is considered a wise [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wisdom] virtue [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virtue] and is promoted in various Eastern religions, such as Hinduism [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hinduism], Jainism [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jainism], Taoism [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taoism], and Buddhism [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buddhism]. It is also a key concept in Christian spirituality (often referred to by the Greek term apatheia [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apatheia]), where it signifies a detachment from worldly objects and concerns
