Then we have a definitive list of The Hot Buzzes Favourite Directors of All Time! Next Episode We have our first DCEU project of 2026 "Supergirl" directed by Craig Gillespie and starring Milly Alcock as the titular "Supergirl" and Eve Ridley as "Ruthie" A young girl who recruits Supergirl on her journey to avenge her father's death at the hands of our lead baddie, Krem of theYellow Hills played by Matthias Schoenaerts. With smaller roles for Jason Mamoa as "Lobo" & David Corenswet as "Superman". Its plot pulled almost entirely from Supergirl's most well known & praised storyline, Tom King's "Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow". Word-of-mouth hasn't been strong citing it as "Bland & Lifeless" some even stating James Gunn's DCEU "May be in trouble" but is it truly that bad? Based on a 4-Chan post which Kane then expanded starting when he was only 15, into video "Backrooms - Found Footage" which grew into 22 episodes of a lore heavy horror series and now, as we know, is a 2026 theatrical release starring Chiwetel Ejiofor, Renate Reinsve & Mark Duplass, will this further inform lore enthusiasts or will it only leave us with more questions then answers?
