Zach Linfield talks with Coach Marcus Pointer about week one of the Huskies’ season. At a 2-5 mark, Duluth rolls into Eau Claire looking to sweep the Express and come home with their first winning streak of the year. Base on balls were the main issue for Huskies’ pitching during the week, but the coaching staff is sure it will get sorted out. Tune into 96.5 WKLK for tonight’s matchup against the Express. #Rollskies

E17: ‘Twas the Night Before Gameday

Episode 17 is a short rundown of things going on around Huskies baseball one day before first pitch. Looking quickly at the roster and who we may see Monday night along with some stadium announcements from front office staff and reminders on where you can catch games all summer long. In Episode 16, Zach Linfield talks to Ambren Voitik and Cooper Trinkle. Two stud athletes that will bring a lot to the infield of the Huskies. The last player interview episode before the season starts brings great conversation and fun. The Huskies open next Monday against Waterloo at the Wade!

On Episode 15, Zach Linfield introduces Mike Boeve and Kyle Westfall. One of them shines at the hot corner and the other on the base paths. E14: The Terminator

Zach Linfield hosts Episode 14 with one guest, Michael Altman. Altman has played for Coach Pointer before and channeled the role of closer. At 6’6, he brings a mad intimidation factor to the mound in the 9th. If his role ends up being the closer for the Huskies, I wouldn’t want to step up to the plate in the 9th trailing by a few runs.
