This homily explores the Orthodox understanding of theosis (deification): the true purpose of the Christian life. What does it mean to unite our thoughts, desires, and will to God? How do we know if we are truly drawing closer to Him? Through reflections on repentance, humility, negative thoughts, gossip, and the life of Saint Paisios of Mount Athos, this message challenges us to prepare our hearts for the coming of the Holy Spirit by cultivating purity, humility, and love for others.
