The Leadership Boost
At the end of a leadership career — not the job, the career — there are two kinds of stocktake. The first is the one most leaders do automatically. >The results. >The revenue. >The organizations built. >The teams assembled. >The problems solved. >The milestones reached. The evidence that the work was real and the contribution was significant. This stocktake is important. It's also incomplete. The second stocktake is harder. Quieter. And in my experience, the one that matters most to leaders when the noise finally settles. Not, what did I achieve? But, who did I change?
