19. Invisible Gratitude

Thanksgiving is about gratitude, family & friends. This Thanksgiving I'm grateful for all of the above but also for two particular moments that really helped me gain insight into the people my sweet twins are becoming.

While finding gratitude in the functionality of our family household unit we are simultaneously finding gratitude in the awareness of differences among those in our community.

Where did our childlike minds go after we assumed the responsibilities of adulthood? Did we have to make that sacrifice? How can we get it back and if we do get it back could this evolve into a tremendously more perfect way to help our children understand our world?
