These are the questions producer and presenter Ruth Hayes explores in this new one-hour docu-drama about the life and legacy of Nano Nagle called Finding Nano. During the programme we journey through Nano’s life, beginning in Ballygriffin near Mallow right up to Cove Street in Cork city where Nano began her mission in humble surrounds. We a look at how the Presentation Order and schools which Nano began has grown not just throughout the world but also it’s impact locally. OC and Me | Ovarian Cancer Documentary

The human voices of ovarian cancer in Ireland. Born from the personal experience of ovarian cancer in Ruth’s family when her sister June was diagnosed at the age of 29 back in 2009. Not knowing much about ovarian cancer, particularly the bleak statistics around survival rates, and surprised by the lack of a strong patient-led support network to give a voice to these women, Ruth and June founded a patient-focused charity called Ovacare where women have a space to share their voice and experience of ovarian cancer. This one-hour documentary provides a platform to raise awareness for the subtle symptoms of ovarian cancer, as well as a place to share the stories of the amazing women who are impacted by it.
