In this episode I read The Invitation by Oriah Mountain Dreamer.  I pulled the Ace of Cups for us this week.  Big emotions and lots of love.  Lastly, I reflect on how who we were isn't about who we are.  The wake of the boat does not determine the direction of the boat.   We get a chance both to recognize ourselves as we actually are and help shape who we are.

Episode 18: The Naming of Cats/Six of Pentacles/Meditation on You

In this Episode I read T.S. Eliot's The Naming of Cats.  I draw the Six of Pentacles which is about Giving and Receiving from fullness in joy.  Lastly, we talk so often about just accepting yourself, but who is that?  So often I think we wonder if a new trait develops if that is us, or what exactly we look like.  We struggle to identify our feelings or notice when we have shifted in our development.  I give ideas on how to start identifying and working with who you are.

Episode 16: Dream Within A Dream/ Queen of Do/ Subjective vs. Objective

In this episode I read Edgar Allan Poe's Dream Within A Dream and explore the theme of hope and hopelessness.  Ewe look like a winner! I drew the Queen of Wands further signs of spring and doing out in the world.  Please remember self care while being out there.  Lastly, I talk further of hope in terms of why both and matter for subjective vs. objective reality.  How both can exist and indeed to give any meaning to free will and predestination, they must exist side by side.

Episode 15: Burnt Norton/ Oh No You Don't!/ Perfection

In this episode I read an excerpt of T. S. Eliot's Burnt Norton from the Four Quartets, my favorite poem.  I pulled the Queen of Swords for us this week-an omen for calling out what needs to be called out.  Lastly, I discuss the binary Perfect vs. Imperfect and how in fact perfection is not only not achievable but not desirable.  Oz never did give nothin' to the Tin Man that he didn't already have.

Episode 14: Kahlil Gibran's On Children/ The Queen of Queens/ Sacred Sexuality

In this episode for April Fool's Day I start off with Gibran's On Adults (Just Kidding, sort of!)  On Children.  This poem reminds us that children are their own people and not chalkboards for us to write upon.  I also draw the Empress, the Queen of Queens Hoozah.  All Hail! I then discuss Sacred Sexuality and the Uses of the erotic for life love, creation and excellence.. Springtime is the time for the new things.  Blessed Be.
