Michael Gruber, affectionately known as Grubes or Shoopy to tens of people in the Dallas/Ft Worth Metroplex, has been the Music Director of the Texas Rangers since 2020. Previously, he worked as a board operator at Sports Radio 1310 Ticket, music director of the Dallas Stars and Dallas Mavericks, audio engineer for Bally Sports Southwest, and the Ambassador of Fun for the Frisco RoughRiders.   He loves the Rangers, the Ticket, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers which is very convenient for making his work not ever feel like work.   We have a history with Grubes, as 11 years ago, Greg and Sammy had the opportunity to interview him on a different podcast show they hosted.
