The Ra Ama Hetep Amen Show
Why has racism endured for so long? Is it simply the product of prejudice between individuals, or does it serve a broader social and economic purpose? In this episode, we examine racism through the lens of Maā Sa philosophy and challenge many of the assumptions that shape today's public conversation. We explore how fear, division, blame, and identity can become powerful forces that keep communities in conflict while diminishing self-agency, productivity, and personal responsibility. Rather than viewing racism solely as hostility between racial groups, we discuss how systems of division can encourage people to define themselves primarily through oppression or superiority, creating cycles of dependency, resentment, and social stagnation. We also examine how narratives of supremacy and inferiority often begin with the stories societies tell about human identity, power, and even the nature of the Divine. Through the Maā Sa understanding of Maā-t, we present a different perspective: that Neb er Tcher is neither black nor white, neither male nor female, but the universal consciousness manifesting through all beings. From this viewpoint, racial supremacy and racial inferiority are human constructs that exist outside the intelligent order of Maā-t and ultimately distract individuals from developing the vitality, discipline, and self-governance necessary to prosper. This conversation is an invitation to move beyond blame and toward understanding—reclaiming Self-agency as the foundation of freedom, productivity, and lasting transformation. Understanding Maā-t. Empowering Self. Transforming Life.
